J Street Founder and President Armen Stein has been invited to speak at Office DevCon 2007, a conference being hosted by Microsoft Sydney in November. Stein will be presenting several sessions on Access development techniques, including optimizing Access-SQL Server client-server applications and managing database projects.

Office DevCon 2007 is a community-driven event aimed squarely at Microsoft Office developers and power-users. It allows people with interests across the Microsoft Office platform to come together in one location to network and hear expert presenters speak on a wide range of advanced Office-related topics. J Street Technology Acquires Ceviant Corporation to add E-Commerce Products to Portfolio

J Street Technology today acquired Ceviant Corporation, a developer of e-commerce products and Web hosting services.  With this acquisition J Street gains immediate entry into the growing marketplace for e-commerce products and services. 

 

The acquisition will yield real benefits to existing customers of the two companies.  Management intends to put the development expertise of the combined companies behind the popular CartGenie® shopping cart software product line, ensuring that CartGenie® and related products continue to flourish.  Matthew Stanigar, founder of Ceviant, will become Vice President of the J Street Technology E-Business Solutions Group.
